No software to buy.  The tutorial shows you how to work
with the system within Microsoft Word®, Corel WordPerfect®
   and Microsoft Outlook®.
No confusing pop up windows to slow you down.
Easy to learn.  With the downloadable tutorial, you can be
working with the system in less than 30 minutes.
Extensive lists of easy-to-recall autocorrecting abbreviations
   provided.
Inexpensive.

Let's face it: nobody likes to type.  Typing is boring and repetitious.  What would it mean to you or your company if the amount of time spent typing could be substantially reduced?  Greater productivity? Happier employees?  More time to spend on other projects?  The answer is, YES.

Computer Speed Typing Made Easy™ is a system for typing with abbreviations which "autocorrect" to the full word when typed
making typing easier, less tedious and faster.

For example:

Type "ack.." and get "acknowledge."
Type "bec.." and get "because."
Type "co.." and get "company."
Type "cos.." and get "companies."
Type "misc.." and get "miscellaneous."
Type "asap.." and get "as soon as possible."

In Word, the full word or phrase appears on your screen the instant you type the second dot after the abbreviation.  In WordPerfect, it appears after pressing the spacebar following the second dot.

To view a two-minute screen capture demonstration of the speed typing system in operation, please click the button below.   In the demo, you will notice "chunks" of text appearing instantly.  This is the autocorrecting of the abbreviations in action.  Generally, you will not be able to see the second dot being typed after the abbreviation because the autocorrection is instantaneous when the second dot is typed. (This is a rough Demo.  The video tutorial included with the Speed Typing package was professionally recorded using Camtasia and is much clearer and smoother than this rough Demo.  The tutorial includes Word and WordPerfect screen captures and full narration.  Satisfaction guaranteed.)

(Depending on your connection, it may take up to one minute
for the demo to load.  Broadband connections should only take
a few seconds.  The demo should begin playing when it is 30
percent loaded.  The demo may appear somewhat sluggish
on dial-up connections.  Please be patient.  The Demo refers
to the system being available as an ebook, but it is now both
an ebook and a downloadable tutorial.)

This Speed Typing system is very easy to learn.

Place an "AutoCorrect" or "QuickCorrect" Button on Your Toolbar

Establishing an autocorrect abbreviation for a particular word or phrase only takes seconds.
For Microsoft Word, you will be shown how to place an "AutoCorrect" button on your toolbar.  For WordPerfect, it will be a "QuickCorrect" button.  When you type a word or phrase which you later would like to type using an abbreviation, you simply double click on the word or highlight the phrase in your document, hit the AutoCorrect or QuickCorrect button, assign it an abbreviation, and you are set.  Whenever you type the abbreviation in the future, it will instantly be autocorrected to the full word or phrase.

The autocorrect abbreviations that you set up in Microsoft Word will function when you type emails in Microsoft Outlook.

Downloadable Video Tutorial!

The Speed Typing system is presented in the form of a downloadable video tutorial and an ebook.  You will only need the tutorial to learn the system.  The ebook provides additional clarification and examples if required.  The tutorial consists of twelve lessons and is a total of 25 minutes long. To view the various topics covered in the ebook and tutorial, click here: Table of Contents.

Lists!  Lists!  Lists!

The package includes extensive Appendices of suggested abbreviations for common words and phrases, as well as specialized terminology used in various industries and professions.
You can use the Appendices to transfer words into your AutoCorrect or QuickCorrect database and add abbreviations of your own.

Suggested abbreviations for over 500 common words are provided.
The Appendix of abbreviations for specialized terminology is 37 pages, including jargon used
in business, law, the sciences, geography, medicine, government, and other areas and professions.

Care was taken to provide abbreviations that are easy to recall and do not conflict with one another.  The system's unique Dot Dot Abbreviation System™ takes the confusion out of recalling and using autocorrecting abbreviations.

The tutorial and ebook will be made available to you immediately for downloading upon completion of your payment.

The tutorial is a self-contained browser-based file.  Therefore, there is no need to worry about viruses or software slowing down your computer.  The entire ebook, including the Appendices, is provided in PDF format.  Copies of the Appendices are also provided in Word and WordPerfect format to facilitate adding words, phrases and their abbreviations to your AutoCorrect or QuickCorrect database.  If you do not have Abobe Reader® to read PDF documents, you may download a free copy of the latest version with this link:

[Note to Corel WordPerfect Users: The "QuickCorrect" feature in WordPerfect currently leaves a space after the abbreviation autocorrects to the full word.  Thus, WordPerfect users must backspace following the autocorrection to put in punctuation following the autocorrected word.  There is no similar issue in Microsoft Word.  ComputerSpeedTyping.com has contacted Corel about this issue.  If enough WordPerfect users contact Corel, perhaps they will fix the issue.  Nevertheless, the ComputerSpeedTyping system is still very helpful for WordPerfect users.  To urge Corel to fix the issue, contact Corel Support at www.Corel.com: select Support, Contact Us, Email Us, Email Corel Tab.]

Download Instructions and Notes

1. The Thank You page after payment will contain the download links for the Speed Typing Tutorial and ebook. (You will also receive a confirming email to access the links if you wish to download later.  These instructions are also in that email.)  The video tutorial is all you need to learn the system, but save the ebook (a pdf file) to your computer first.

(Our files are safe and will not slow down your computer.  The video tutorial runs in your web browser and is not a "program" running separately on your computer.  We have many satisfied customers, and there have been no complaints.)

2. The video tutorial is a "zip" file (20 MB) and should take less than a minute to download with a high speed connection.  When the file is received, your computer should provide you with an option to "extract files" or "unzip files."  In Windows Vista, there is a button on the final window that says "Extract Files."

3. Once the files are extracted, you will see within the main file a subfile entitled "Computer Speed Typing."  This subfile has an Internet Explorer icon next to it (blue "e" with a circle around it).  Click that file, and the tutorial will begin running in your browser.

4. The video tutorial consists of twelve lessons and is about 25 minutes long.  Each lesson will replay itself until you click the next lesson in the menu on the left of the tutorial screen.  You may need to adjust your volume.  Use the buttons at the bottom of the tutorial screen to pause, stop or replay each lesson.  You can close and come back to the tutorial at a later time if needed.

5. Microsoft Word 2007 Users: The download includes an update for Word 2007.  The update should be used with Lesson 1A of the video tutorial.

Note to Students: This speed typing system is not recommended for students still learning how to spell words in their particular field or for younger students still developing their spelling skills.  The system could hamper your ability to learn the full spelling of words.  Please master spelling words in full before using this system.
